As an organization, we’ve had the chance to meet the various Conversationalists that make up the global FreeIC community—a community of people interested in talking to and learning from others.

We want to strengthen the global FreeIC community and have made it a priority of ours to get the diverse and incredible Conversationalists in our community to meet each other. 

To encourage meaningful conversations and friendships amongst the FreeIC Community we’re launching two initiatives—with one giving you the chance to win $1000! 

Yeah, you read that right, $1000, Straight cash. Here are the deets:

1. Coffee/Tea Meetup Reimbursement ☕️

For the first 100 people, whenever 2 or more Conversationalist(s) gets together to meet up for the first time, we’ll reimburse up to $5 for beverage/snack per Conversationalist.

To get the $5 reimbursement you’ll need to complete this form with the following information:

  1. Name of other Conversationalists 

  2. A photo/selfie of the Conversationalist(s) involved in the meetup

  3. City where the meetup happened

  4. A photocopy of the receipt

  5. Your preferred method of reimbursement (Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, etc.) with your username.

2. FreeIC Conversationalist Sweepstakes 🤝

We’re giving $1000 cash prize to the first FreeIC Conversationalist who meets up with 10 different Conversationalists in 10 different cities for a conversation. Qualifications to win:

  1. You must have attended at least 1 FreeIC outing and must be able to provide proof of your attendance.

  2. You must meet a new Conversationalist(s) in ten different cities. You’ll need to provide proof of the meeting happening by taking a picture at the end of each meeting.

FYI: you can use coffee & tea reimbursements mentioned above for these meetings. 

How we recommend meeting Conversationalist 👋

Join our Discord community to find other Conversationalists who are interested in meeting up. After joining, just send a message in the #lounge channel whenever you’re headed to an area you think there might be Conversationalists in.

Tips:

  • Meet at public places that are conversation-friendly. 

  • Don’t be shy. Start the conversation with your favorite FreeIC Question Card or a story about your favorite FreeIC experience.

  • Don’t be creepy. That’s it. Just don’t.
