Hello Conversationalists!
Hopefully you are accustomed to the Fall weather by now and have had some opportunities to enjoy some of its small pleasures. We at FreeIC have not been carving jack-o-lanterns, but we were quite busy this October. Read on to see what we have been up to!
FreeIC & NOMA at Andrews University
On October 12th FreeIC had the opportunity to join the National Organization of Minority Architects at Andrews University to lead out in their first meeting! NOMA is a group of students dedicated to enriching minority student experiences within architecture.
Professor Mark Moreno invited FreeIC with the intent of fostering stronger relationships amongst the group members right from the start. We had conversations ranging from advice for newborns to conceptual freedoms within the design process! It’s always a pleasure to spend time with our friends at Andrews University.
FreeIC at Manama Entrepreneurship Week
On October 22nd, FreeIC had the pleasure of partnering with Rotaract Bahrain, Rotaract Mediterranean, and the Capital Governorate of the Kingdom of Bahrain to host a FreeIC/networking event for their 2020 Entrepreneurship Week! We had over 20 people join us online and we enjoyed conversations ranging from how we would change our lives if the average lifespan was 40 yrs old, or what we believe makes a good leader! Looking forward to more events in the future with our friends in Bahrain!
FreeIC with Rotaract Mediterranean on Their Digital Square
On October 24th FreeIC joined Rotaract Mediterranean for a digital event with their club members! We had 16 participants from over 6 different countries including Lebanon, Bahrain, Egypt, the Netherlands, and others! It was great to connect across time zones and to share meaningful conversations and experiences with all who were in attendance.
