Hello Conversationalists!
We are well into the fall season and it is also right after halloween weekend, so hopefully you were able to enjoy some of the niceties of the fall season like cider and hayrides, or some treats and thrills from halloween weekend. At FreeIC we were thrilled to have a few outings as well as the opportunity for the leadership team to assemble in LA for a planning/brainstorming session! Read on to see how we tackled the month of October.
FreeIC Outing at UC Berkeley
We are excited to share that a group in Berkeley hosted their first outing! The students were very enthralled by the experience and are excited about potential opportunities to find new conversations and people to talk to in the future.
FreeIC Team Meeting in LA
The FreeIC Team decided that in order to close out the year strong, strategize what’s next for the organization/movement, and get some insights into events for 2022, it was important to meet and brainstorm in person. With most of the team being in LA and the Bay area, it was determined that a We Work meeting room in LA would be the best option. It was a very enriching meeting, where great new ideas were shared, and this was also the first time that the whole team had assembled in person! We are excited about the future of FreeIC, and can’t wait for the results of our session to come to life.
