Hello Conversationalists!
It is with great joy that we wish you a happy new year as we enter into 2022! With this new year, we hope to continue to grow and connect with new communities and individuals. You all, our community, have been a wonderful gift to us as we truly value your support and participation in our efforts to better connect people around the world. In this letter we will share some thoughts from the team, our Greenhouse event in December, and more!
December GreenHouse Team Connect
We had another great event with our friends at Greenhouse where we were able to continue connecting their community of team members. The questions from the event ranged from thought provoking ones like “would you want to be famous” and “when does a place become a home for you” to more introspective ones like “what’s something you know you do differently than most of your coworkers?” It’s always rewarding to share these moments with the teams here and we can’t wait for our next team connect this January!
FreeIC Team Thoughts & Goals Going into 2022
Our team comes from a variety of backgrounds and places, but we all share a love for engaging in meaningful conversations with others! Here’s some thoughts from us moving into the new year:
Alex: “I’m excited about what I hope to be the end of the pandemic and countless in person conversations again!
Allie: “I’m excited about things hopefully opening up and traveling more! I’m also excited for bigger family gatherings!
Cliff: “I’m excited for new opportunities to connect and grow in new spaces! With new enhanced ways to interact, and have new conversations, I want FreeIC to be seen as the “go to” method for meeting new friends, or reconnecting with old ones.”
Kyle: “I’m most excited to be doing in person events soon.”
Nikhil: “I’m excited for FreeIC to return to its in real life grassroots foundation and personality, and I’m excited for this year to start negotiating a return to “normalcy.”
Zach: “I’m excited about the new year and the possibilities we can achieve with FreeIC”
FreeIC Goals 2022
We at FreeIC always strive to continue to grow, improve, and connect with more people each year, and this year will be no different! Below are some of our goals going into this year:
Increase our number of in person events
Connect with more schools & universities
Continue to grow our online community
By executing on these goals, we hope to continue to positively impact communities around the world, and to provide our community with more and more opportunities to share their thoughts and experiences with new people.

We have signs and cards translated into 18 different languages, we provide support for both single, and consistent outings, and we’ve identified ways to host FreeIC events outdoors, virtually, within a school setting, and within a business setting.
