Happy first days of summer!
We hope you have had the opportunity to speak with some awesome new people this month because the FreeIC team definitely has! Between the Rotary International Convention in Hamburg, Germany, and the Heterodox Academy Conference in New York, we were able to engage in some very fascinating conversations, and meet some really amazing people! Below are some highlights and pictures/videos from these events:
FreeIC & Rotaract Europe at the 2019 Rotary International Convention
As we mentioned in our previous newsletter, from June 2nd - 5th, FreeIC was onsite in Hamburg, Germany to partner with Rotaract France to host an outing, and to present how Rotaract France is utilizing FreeIC as a peacekeeping social project, at the Rotary International Convention. Thanks to a lot of hard work and partnership with Laura Bourgeois and her team, Free Intelligent Conversation is now the official social project for Rotaract Europe for the 2019 - 2020 year! FreeIC Presentation at Annual Heterodox Academy Conference
On June 20th FreeIC’s Executive Director, Kyle Emile, traveled to New York to present at the annual Heterodox Academy Conference! At the conference, Kyle presented on how FreeIC can be used as a tool to encourage intellectually diverse conversations within academic environments. Click here for more photos from the conference!
