As the last warm days of summer fade into the colors of fall, we hope that you have had some great opportunities to meet amazing new people and have some incredible, authentic conversations! Country Representative Weekend & FreeIC Outing in Copenhagen, Denmark on September 16th

FreeIC Featured in the Chronicle of Higher Education!

We were honored this month to be featured in an article by Katherine Mangan in the Chronicle of Higher Education! The Chronicle is a widely known and respected journalism outlet, that experiences of 2 million site visits each month, and has over 1,650 organizations that subscribe to make its articles available to their students and employees. In Katherine’s article she discusses view-point diversity in higher education and refutes some of the popular narratives that there is no place for diverse thought in the university sphere.  FreeIC Sign Translations!

As FreeIC continues to spread into more countries, we have been working to get our signs and question cards translated into different languages! So far we have signs in French, German, English, and Danish! See our signs below, and let us know if you want FreeIC translated and brought to your country!

FreeIC featured in Heterodox Academy Blog Post

Mark Urista, Communication faculty member at Linn-Benton Community College in Albany, Oregon, recently wrote an article for Heterodox Academy where he encourages faculty to take advantage of the awesome resources provided by FreeIC and some other groups to help promote free discourse on their campuses.
